New Licensing Tier for iTwin Reviewers

Currently, ProjectWise two licensing tiers relevant to this scenario:

• ProjectWise Engineer: Includes ProjectWise Explorer for integrated CAD drawing management and commenting within iTwin Design Review.

• ProjectWise Manage: Provides basic web-based file management and view-only access to iModels with iTwin Design Review but does not allow reviewers to make or submit comments.

This creates a challenge for external reviewers who only need to review an iModel on the web and provide feedback. They do not require ProjectWise Explorer or full CAD integration, but they need more than view-only access.

Propose introduction of a new licensing tier specifically for iModel reviewers that:

• Allows reviewers to make and submit comments in the web view without requiring ProjectWise Explorer.

• Is priced appropriately for external stakeholders who do not need fully integrated CAD capabilities and who don’t need full engineering capabilities.

• Allows reviewers to make and submit comments.

• Provides reviewers should ability to see results from civil validation tools.

Benefits include:

• Reduces cost and complexity for organizations needing external review participation.

• External partners like 3rd-party utilities and stakeholders need to review and comment without requiring a Bentley license.

• Clients/owners would be able to view and provide model review feedback.

• Promotes collaboration and avoids paying for unnecessary features.
