Attribute exchange integration with Infrastructure Cloud

Attribute exchange (Microsoft office) only pulls through onto documents in Explorer, for those users who do not need the desktop software this means they can not accurately assess if the information on the cover page is correct. They would need to view a rendition to see if it was correct or view in explorer which isn't ideal if that is the only reason they needed explorer. Is it possible to have attribute exchange work in BIC?
