Links on the home page

On the home page we have a summary


If we choose My work and select open submittal, we are bring to the incoming deliverables, but noting is visible. I have to change the filter to Show All Not complete I see many not response transmissions, while the summary for my work show 1????

If I switch to outgoing and filter to see Create by me, i can see one with response overdue.

I then switch to Project, it display 9 open submittals, When click it bring me to Incoming buy I have to change the filter to see Show all not complete, I can then see 7, and two more are on the outgoing to match the total of the summary.

The idea of the home page is good, but for a first time user , in its golden hour to make or break, the user may have hard time seeing value.

Request is to enhance the home page an the link into the summary to display relevant information to the user.
